Synopsis of "Upper / Lower"

22 Miles from the metropolis of Los Angeles, is a town fitting with notoriety but still clinging to its smallness. Upper / Lower takes an intimate look at the Hermosa Beach community through its residents, activities, and cultures. Through the course of 1 year of filming, we will follow several families and single folks and show how all of the interactions and desires are truly for the cause of keeping Hermosa Beach the small town that it is.

This film is being written, directed and filmed by Jim Whelehan, a local Hermosa Beach resident.
